Global Church Partnerships

Overview

A formal connection with an under-resourced or international community can fundamentally change your congregation's perspective on faith and the challenges of the worldwide Church, and can focus their serving and generosity with direct, tangible results. These church relationships will provide a direct practical, spiritual and emotional connection for your congregation, will challenge your congregation to understand the social and economic factors at play, and will open doors to great serving opportunities. See the long-term impact of your partnership and service in their lives and yours.

If you can change a church leader, you can change a church. When you change a church, you can change a community. And when enough churches are changing, you can affect a region, a country, and eventually the world.

There are two ways to get involved in Global Church Partnerships: Church to Church, or GLS Partnership:

Church to Church Church to Church is a joint venture that the WCA began with Compassion International. Through this partnership, churches across North America can have the richness of part of their mission expression being in long-term holistic relationships with other churches in under-resourced parts of the world. How is this different than GLS Partnership? Church to Church relationships are relationships made between under-resourced Compassion International churches and the WCA's network of churches across North America. Where can I find out more? GLS Partnership GLS Partnership is an opportunity for churches to support the GLS in a specific country, or international host church through relationship with their church leaders. Through this partnership, under-resourced churches across the globe are able to host the GLS, thus giving under-resourced leaders the opportunity to receive world-class training and resources, and change their church and their world. How is this different than Church to Church? GLS Partnership relationships are relationships made between under-resourced GLS host countries/churches and the WCA's network of churches across North America. Where can I find out more?
