| Course Offered: |

Cost: $225
Overview
This course is for church leaders who care deeply about helping people move forward on the journey toward full, Christ-centered living. During the seven weeks you'll explore some of the most impactful principles and practices you can employ in your own life, in your church culture, and in strategy, in order to best encourage the transformation process in others.
Knowing that most church leaders face hard realities of limited time and resources, you'll look at specific ways you and your church team can help make informed decisions about which programs, activities, and actions are the most strategic for spiritual transformation effectiveness.
The course begins with an introduction to a proven framework churches can use to improve effectiveness in encouraging spiritual transformation. Other lessons focus on how a leader's own spiritual health impacts those they lead and how to keep your own soul healthy while in ministry. Additional weeks will cover healthy and unhealthy cultures, operational issues in a ministry environment, the impact of the Sunday service in the spiritual transformation process, and next steps for integrating what you've learned into your own leadership.
While only God can change a human heart, through interaction with written materials, video teaching, and two interactive classroom experiences, you'll learn ways you can better support the spiritual transformation process—helping men and women who are far from God move toward a full, Christ-centered faith. Assigned work includes interaction with written materials and video teaching from church and ministry leaders including Nancy Beach, Mike Bonem, Mindy Caliguire, Harvey Carey, Dr. Henry Cloud, Corrinne Gunter, Gary Haugen, Bill Hybels, Tim Keller, Jim Mellado, Dan Meyer, Aaron Niequist, Cally Parkinson, Peter Scazzero, Jarrett and Jeanne Stevens, and Dallas Willard. Sessions one and seven will feature a virtual classroom experience on Thursday at 1:00 pm CST, with opportunity for live interaction. (These two sessions will be posted for later viewing by those who cannot participate live.) Click on the Course Overview to the left to view/print a week-by-week synopsis.
